Amman - Jordan
The objectives of the training were to share perspectives of the priorities and challenges related to PVE programming in Jordan, share experience and deepen understanding on impact measurement for PVE programmes – challenges, principles, strategies, methods and tools (using the Toolkit as basis), develop and refine indicators for M&E frameworks relevant to agencies’ work and related to PVE across the UNCT (using the Indicator bank of over 190 PVE-relevant indicators).
Programmes included a welcoming remark from RCO, an introduction to the Toolkit, addressing the challenges and sharing good practice in design, monitoring and evaluation (DM&E) for PVE. It highlighted priorities and challenges related to PVE measurement programming in Jordan: Adsressing gaps and identifying strategies to improve measurement of impact, as well as targeting, identifying success and theories of change for PVE programming. It talked about developing M&E Framework for PVE Programmes – Identifying and establishing baselines, and monitoring and data collection. The day included much participatory work, giving participants a chance to discuss and work from their own projects and challenges.
