Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation (MBRF); MBRF is honoured to organize the Knowledge Summit 2016 between 5 and 7 December at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Dubai.
The Knowledge Summit 2016 will feature the announcement of the winner of “Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Award” to honour a global figure for his or her contributions in the dissemination of knowledge. Other highlights of the Summit will include the launch of the “Arab Reading Index” results, which is a joint initiative of MBRF and UNDP.
Designed around the theme “Reading…The Way to the Future”, the Knowledge Summit will focus on four key pillars: Reading, Information Technology, Media and Film Industry as well as Scientific Research. The summit is hosting a group of experts and specialists in these areas to discuss developments and challenges facing the development process in the region and to spread the concepts of creativity and innovation as a life-style among its population.
