Specialized national training for the UN Global Compact Network in Lebanon on the; “Concepts and Tools to Reduce Vulnerability to Corruption in Lebanon”.
Recently formed, the UN Global Compact in Lebanon is prioritizing action on anti-corruption, which is the tenth principle under the UN Global Compact.
Hosted at the American University of Beirut, the training shall aim to raise the awareness of the Network’s members and enhance their knowledge on key concepts, the UN Convention against Corruption, related reform efforts in Lebanon, and specific initiatives that are likely to reduce the country’s vulnerability to corruption.
In doing so, the training is expected to equip the members of the Network, which brings together more than 70 private sector entities, with the necessary information and tools to become a more effective advocate for the anti-corruption agenda in Lebanon, thus promoting a more inclusive approach in this regard.
