The Arab Knowledge Project has launched in Dubai, during the 2016 Knowledge Summit in December, 2016, releasing the
Arab Reading Index 2016 and
Arab Knowledge Index, whcih both be accessed through the
Knowledge4all portal and the
Knowledge4all mobile application.
As part of its efforts to disseminate the Arab Knowledge Index 2016 and Arab Reading Index, UNDP/RBAS together with Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation are organizing a series of eight post-launch events in Arab and international cities (Riyadh, Kuwait City, Cairo, Amman, Algiers, Rabat, New York and Paris).
The Arab Knowledge Project (AKP) is planning to hold its first post-launch event in Kuwait City in February, 2017 and will be organized in close cooperation with the UNDP Kuwait CO and the National Knowledge Economy Center.
During the event, AKP will be addressing the results of the Arab Knowledge Index 2016 and Arab Reading Index in Kuwait and the knowledge status of Kuwait compared to the rest of the GCC countries.
